New servers installed; faster performance

After rapid growth during the first weeks of 2004, FastMail.FM over the last couple of days has struggled to keep up with all the new users. Therefore, today we installed 3 new high-end IBM servers, which has dramatically improved performance and ensures trouble-free operation in the future.

Update: one of the servers has a hardware fault, so has been taken offline. Full performance may not be achieved until this fault is repaired. We will provide an update shortly.

Update: the server has been brought back online, and FastMail.FM is now running a full speed again!
