We are excited to announce a new version of the FastMail iOS app that markedly improves performance!
Scrolling, opening and creating email, events, contacts and notes are all much faster (noting that network speed is a factor when fetching mail, calenders, etc).
The speed gain is mainly due to moving to WKWebView under the hood and this change also results in better stability, responsiveness, and web compatibility.
Additionally, we have added the ability to print emails from the app, which brings it into line with the web interface and iPad Pro users can now make better use of their screen size.
The new version is available right now! Head to the Updates tab of the App Store to get started.
